Golf Simulators: What can you get out of one?

Golf simulators provide the golfer with a wealth of swing information.  The most valuable information that a golf simulator like the P3ProSwing can provide are the metrics of your club and the ball within the impact zone.  The crucial area is 5” before the ball, at impact, and 5” after the ball.  By using optical sensors, the bottom of your club is measured exactly to see what your swing looks like in the impact zone.P3ProSwing Golf Simulator Software Screen Shot

Used in conjunction with a golf pro, the P3ProSwing is an incredibly powerful teaching tool.  You can tell down to a tenth of a degree if you’re hitting the ball on an inside/out or outside/in swing path.  Golf pros tell us over and over again how valuable it is to have their students try a new grip or slightly different stance, and have the adjustment reinforced though the actual ball flight as well as a visual portrayal of their swing through the impact zone.

It’s one thing to see your ball fly straight and think maybe it was a fluke?  And it’s quite another thing to look at your swing stats and see… wow! You hit that ball SQUARE (in/out swing path) and SQUARE (face angle) 100% on the sweet spot of the club with a dead straight ball path.

That’s valuable knowledge.  And in the immortal words of GI Joe “Now you know… and knowing is half the battle.”

I had the opportunity to take a few swings on a P3ProSwing Simulator while at the 2010 PGA Show. I can’t say enough good about P3ProSwing. The graphics are stunning, the data feedback from the swing and ball-flight sensors are accurate.

For all of you teaching pros out there, with a little space at your club and a minimal investment, you can continue to teach in style through the winter months. Plus with the unit priced as affordable as it is, you will recoup your investment before winter ends.

For you head pros, there is no need to close your doors on rainy days if you bring a golf simulator into your facility. With a P3ProSwing unit in your golf shop, continue to drive traffic and revenue to your facility even during the worst storms.
